Regulations for Use of LAE Beach House
1. Use of the Beach House is intended for LAE sponsored events. It may be reserved for “family events such as birthdays, reunions, anniversaries and private parties involving LAE members and friends.” Events of other organized or incorporated groups are not sanctioned. 2. Any party who reserves the Beach House must execute a “hold harmless” reservation agreement and make a $100.00 ($50/$50) payment prior to approval of the reservation. Fifty ($50) is for use of the facility and the other $50 may be refunded upon satisfactory compliance with the “Renter’s Beach House Checklist” and a satisfactory inspection of the Beach House. In addition, a key deposit in cash is required and will be refunded when key is returned. 3. The Beach House will normally be locked except when an event has been approved by the Beach House Committee. 4. LAE events are to be scheduled in advance and posted at the LAE Bulletin Board. Exceptions to this guideline can be made if the event is weather dependent. 5. Beach House events will be scheduled and the Beach House opened for specific time periods. A designated person will check the condition of the Beach House at the beginning and following each event and report any damage sustained to the Beach House Chairman. 6. Any intended use of the building shall comply with local, state & federal laws. 7. Any Beach House event reserved for and/or attended by persons less than 21 years of age must have a LAE member parental chaperone present throughout the event. 8. Any persons reserving the Beach House for a private event shall be financially responsible for any damage sustained to the structure and its contents during the event period.

By executing this Hold Harmless Reservation Agreement, the undersigned hereby represents and certifies that he/she, on behalf of all family members and guests, indemnifies and holds harmless LAE Association, its officers and directors and all members of record, from all claims whatsoever arising out of, or resulting from, the use of the LAE Beach House and the adjoining Beach Area for the function which the use of said premises is hereby reserved.

RENTER’S BEACH HOUSE CHECKLIST October 12, 2003
The Beach House will be left as clean as you found it. Cleaning agents and equipment are provided. The LAE BBQ will not be used by the renter.
1. At the circuit breaker box turn on the items that you will need. DO NOT TURN OFF the main refrigerator and water pump breakers.
2. The following areas need to be cleaned: a. Stove top and burners. b. Oven interior and racks. Replace foil in the bottom of the ovens. c. Wipe out the refrigerators. d. Wipe clean all tables, counter tops, sink, cabinets and appliances. e. Sweep and mop floor. f. All trash is to be placed in plastic bags (provided by renter) and the trash bags are to be in the outside containers adjacent to the Beach House. g. Separate regular trash from bottles/cans.
3. Upon departure accomplish the following: a. Turn off the HOT WATER circuit breaker and the OVEN circuit breaker. b. Store all furniture and equipment as you found it upon arrival. c. Lock all windows and doors. d. Return the key to the designated
